In recent years, movie stars have begun migrating to television, taking over shows like “Damages” (Glenn Close), “Nikita” (Shane West and Maggie Q) and “CSI” (Lawrence Fishburne). Which is cool, but their absence means there’s a gap in the movie world that someone needs to fill. Well, turnabout is fair play.
Here’s the deal: we’ve come up with a list of the 10 up-and-coming young television actors that we’d love to see become movie superstars. Your job is to review their qualifications and let us know via our amazing internet polling capabilities which of them you most want to see on the big screen. Because someone has to decide the future of Hollywood — and it might as well be you. Results will be announced on Monday, June 20.

Vampires rule at this year’s MuchMusic Video Awards on June 19.

Twilight’s Nikki Reed, along with The Vampire Dairies’ Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, are among the first presenters announced for the awards, held again at MuchMusic’s downtown Toronto building.

Newly announced performers are Down With Webster, Far East Movement ft. Dev, Fefe Dobson, and Simple Plan. They join previously announced performers Lady Gaga, co-host Selena Gomez, Avril Lavigne, The Black Keys, Bruno Mars, and City and Colour.
Other presenters include The Big Bang Theory’s Johnny Galecki, Pretty Little Liars’ Shay Mitchell, east coast rapper Classified, pop-rockers Marianas Trench, power-pop band These Kids Wear Crowns, Toronto pop-R&B artist Shawn Desman, Australian pop star Cody Simpson, party rock duo LMFAO, and singer/SYTYCDC judge Blake McGrath.

So excited! Can’t wait for new photos of Nina from the red carpet!

Nina was spotted practicing a scene by throwing her wallet and carrying an open briefcase on the Pittsburgh set of “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”. Nina is playing Candace, Charlie’s (Logan Lerman) sister in the movie. The film also stars Kate Walsh, Emma Watson, and Dylan McDermott. ♥ She looks so adorable and we can’t wait to see her in the movie!

The season finale was.. let’s say surprising, in both good and bad way at least for us. [SPOILER ALERT - Don't read if you didn't see the finale yet!] The fact that Stefan sacrificed himself and teamed up with Klaus ‘really upset us. Also thinking that probably Elena will end up with Damon in Stefan’s absence kinda ruins the great love story we loved and felt they had. We’re not saying we don’t like Damon and Elena together but it just seems a little bit unfair cause this isn’t the best way we thought they could end up together. We imagined Damon & Elena could eventually have something in the future, if Stefan and Elena started to grow apart. Nevertheless it was an amazing episode, Katherine was INCREDIBLE and we really love the idea of Jeremy seeing dead people now and this makes us even more excited for the next season. Lastly but more importantly, Nina’s performances throughout the Second Season were flawless, we feel that she’s growing so much as an actor and we’re so amazed by her talent! The Vampire Diaries season 2 finale is tonight! In light of that, in this exclusive interview, Nina talks about such finale, her diet, and how she chooses her projects!

Currently, what is your favorite book?

I’m reading a couple of things right now. There’s a book called Wherever You Go, There You Are, and I also re-read The Perks of Being a Wallflower for my role in the movie.

Had you met your Wallflower co-star Emma Watson before?

No, I’ve actually never met her. I know Logan [Lerman], he’s a friend of mine. I’m very excited to work with everyone.

How do you choose your projects? What goes through your mind when scripts come across your desk?

Its one of those things where…I try to stay away from anything I’ve played before, so I’d prefer not to do anything vampire related for supernatural. [laughs] At the same time, we’re reading scripts looking for good material surrounded by good casts, directors. I really want to be associated with great projects and character driven projects and films. I have to feed my soul, and keep feeling like an artist and keep being challenged. That’s one of the things now, it’s a very interesting experience after two years on the show, even with the two characters, and I’m getting into a routine. I don’t want to get comfortable or into a pattern, I want to continue to be challenged. I really love what I do, so I have to give it my all.

Yesterday, Perks of Being A Wallflower, the highly anticipated movie based on the best-selling book of the same name, began filming around Pittsburgh and they’re already off to an exciting start! According to a notice on the Upper St. Clair government website, they are filming all week around Mill Grove Road, Swanson Lane, Hathaway Lane, Ewing Circle and Valley Court in Upper St. Clair.

The girl said:

I saw them filming a little bit. Kate Walsh is playing the mom & Dylan McDermott is the dad. I got to met Logan Lerman, Nicholas Braun and Nina Dobrev! All really sweet, Logan really took time to talk to all of us, get pictures and sign autographs.

The girl also posted a few photos with Logan, Nicholas and Nina, you can see the photos in our Gallery! Nina looks amazing and we love how her hair looks! We’re so excited for this, hopefully more photos from the set will surface!
